Qur'an Prayer

Every 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month from 10.30am till 11.30am, we meet to read, listen deeply to the words read, and share our reflection on sections of the Quran, the holy book of the Moslem faith.

While we do look at some commentary of the text to help situate our reflections, this is not an intellectual exercise to dissect or debate issues. Our attitude is more about listening to the words and  trying to discover the deeper invitation that draws millions of people all over the world to follow the Qur’an.

As Hans Küng so wisely said, “there can be no peace among Nations without peace among religions”. What can we do, - what can you do, - to bring greater understanding and harmony among people of all faiths and even people of no faith?

“The only principle for Interreligious Dialogue is Truth. The only way it can succeed is through love.” (Abhishiktananda)
